8/25/2010 - Witnesses Wanted for Failure to Render Aid-News Release 045/10

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a driver wanted for questioning for Failure to Render Aid.

 

On August 21, 2010, at approximately 3:00 a.m., two vehicles involved in a collision were stopped on the roadway on the H-1 Freeway westbound just before the Waipahu off ramp.  One of the drivers, a 60-year-old male, exited his vehicle to approach the other driver.  A third vehicle traveling westbound collided with the two stopped vehicles striking the male.  The driver of the third vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.  The male was taken to the hospital in critical condition.  The vehicle is described as being white in color with possible damages to the front driver’s side fender and passenger side panel.

8/23/2010 - Attempted Murder Suspects Wanted - News Release 042/10

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two males wanted for Attempted Murder.

 

On August 22, 2010, at approximately 5:55 p.m., a 60-year-old female was at the Kahala mall upper parking lot fronting Barnes & Nobles when she observed two local males sitting in her car.  As she walked closer, the males fled the area in her vehicle and struck her as she was walking.  The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.  The suspects were last seen heading East on Waialae Avenue in a light blue Honda four door bearing license plates EPT627.

7/30/2010 - Witnesses Wanted for Arson - News Release 038/10
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating any witness or witnesses to a fire that occurred on July 28, 2010, at approximately 5:00 p.m. at 2203 Ahe Street.  Investigators determined that an accelerant had been used to ignite the fire.

7/30/2010 - Burglary & Kidnapping Suspect Wanted - News Release 039/10

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating a male, who is wanted for Burglary and Kidnapping.

On July 30, 2010, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the victim, a 92 year-old woman, heard knocking on her front door and looked out the window of her house located on the 1300 block of Koko Head Avenue.  When she turned her back, a male kicked in the door and restrained her to keep her quiet.  She was able to break free and the male fled in an unknown direction.

6/28/2010 - Unsolved Murder: Jason Nam - News Release 042/06

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating any witnesses to a murder that happened on Friday, March 10, 2006 at about 4:00 p.m. at 1709 South Beretania Street.

 

The victim, Jason Nam, was cleaning his vehicle in the parking lot of his residence when a black 4-door Nissan Maxima occupied by three males entered the parking lot. All of the three males exited the vehicle, and one of the males was holding a baseball bat. The victim got into an argument with the suspect and the victim was dragged over to a grassy area where a single gunshot was fired. The three males ran back to their vehicle and fled westbound on South Beretania Street.  The vehicle used was reported stolen on March 2, 2006 from the Mililani area. It was found burning on Makohilani Street near Keekuhiwa Street at 9:25 p.m. on the night of the murder.

6/24/2010 - Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted - News Release 032/10

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for Attempted Murder.

 

On June 17, 2010, at approximately 10:24 p.m., the victim was approached by the suspect in front of Blockbuster in the Salt Lake Shopping Center, and challenged him to a fight.  The victim left the parking lot in his vehicle and the suspect followed him.  As the victim was driving on Ala Kamalie Street near Ala Akulikuli Street, the suspect pulled along side in a dark colored, four-door, Nissan Pathfinder, and shouted for him to pull over.  The victim continued driving and   was rammed several times by the suspect’s vehicle.  The passenger in the Nissan fired several gunshots at the victim’s vehicle then fled.  Several rounds hit the victim’s vehicle with one round passing between the driver and passenger.

4/28/2010 - Burglary Suspect Wanted - News Release 022/10

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating and identifying a male wanted for burglary.

On April 14, 2010, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a male was observed on video surveillance entering Mike`s Barbershop at 307 Hahani Street. The suspect reversed his vehicle to the front of the establishment, walked to the glass door, and struck the door with an unknown object. The male entered throught the shattered glass door and was observed a few minutes later exiting with items. The male fled in a black compact vehicle and is described as heavey set, wearing light colored t-shirt, dark shorts, slippers, and baseball cap.

12/4/2009 - Robbery Suspects Wanted - News Release 058/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating two males who are wanted for robbing the 7-Eleven Hawaii store located at 1136 North King Street.

On November 26, 2009 at approximately 11:50 p.m. two males entered the store. Suspect #1 went behind the counter, branished a handgun, removed several packs of cigarettes and ordered the clerk to not do anything. Suspect #2 proceeded to the beverage cooler and removed several cases of beer. Both suspects fled in an unknown direction.

11/18/2009 - Theft Suspect Wanted - News Release 055/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for theft.

 On November 11, 2009, at approximately 2:30 p.m., two juvenile males arrived at the Pearlridge Shopping Center when they were stopped by the suspect who claimed to be loss prevention.  The suspect told the victims that they were suspects in a theft and that they should escort him.  The suspect was met by two other males who identified the victims as theft suspects.  The victims were then told to follow the suspect to the parking area. Once in the parking area, the suspect took the victims property then fled.

On September 9, 2009, at approximately 2:30 a.m., two males entered the 7-Eleven Store located at 2028 Wilder Avenue.  Suspect #1 approaced the cashier and demanded money while suspect #2 removed cases of beer from the cooler.  The cashier refused to open the register and was assaulted by suspect #1.  Both males fled in an unknown direction.

10/30/2009 - Fraudulent Use of Credit Card Suspect - News Release 052/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male, who is wanted for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.  On October 7, 2009, at approximately 2:45 p.m.,  the complainant parked and secured her vehicle fronting 953 Mokulua Drive.  She returned from the beach at 3:45 p.m. and found that her vehicle had been broken into. Her purse was taken from the trunk area.  Contents of the purse contained the victim’s debit card.

 

On October 7, 2009 at 3:59 p.m., the victim’s debit card was used at Safeway Kaneohe located at 46-047 Kamehameha Highway by an unknown male.

10/15/2009 - Burglary Suspects Wanted - News Release 049/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three males who are wanted for burglary.

 

On October 11, 2009, at approximately 11:30 p.m., three stores located at 94-1221 Ka Uka Boulevard were burglarized. Surveillance cameras showed three males entering one of the stores removing various items along with a safe containing cash.

9/29/2009 - Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted - News Release 043/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for an attempted murder that occured at Kapiolani Park near the Royal Hawaiian Bandstand.

On September 28, 2009, at approximately 4:40 p.m. the victim who was asleep on a park bench, was stabbed by an unknown male. The suspect fled into Kapiolani Park.

9/15/2009 - Theft Suspect Wanted - News Release 040/09

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in identifying a male wanted for Theft in the Second Degree.

On April 18, 2009, at approximately 9:00 p.m. the victim was on the 4th level parking lot of Ala Moana Shopping Center by Sears when an unknown male approached her. He asked the victim for a cigarette then grabbed her purse and fled. The victim followed the suspect down the stairs and observed him get into a silver colored sedan with dark tinted windows.

Race:  Filipino

Age:  20’s

Height:  5’7”

Hair:  Black

Eyes:  Brown

Clothing: Black t-shirt, red shorts and slippers

8/7/2009 - Witnesses Wanted - News Release 034/009

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance for information on a motor vehicle collision that resulted in a fatality.

On July 30, 2009, at approximately 9:35 a.m. a 1996 Toyota Corolla, four-door sedan struck a concrete pillar at Ala Moana Shopping Center, street level near Satellite City Hall.

A white vehicle that left the scene may have been invovled in the collision.
