CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Erik Whaley who was last seen on March 28, 2009, at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the area of Keehi Lagoon.
On March 30, 2009, the Coast Guard found a rowboat with Whaley’s personal belongings floating nine miles off shore of Keehi Lagoon.

She routinely calls her family on the mainland several times a week, but no contact has been made since. Several family members have come to Oahu from as far as Japan in hope of finding her. They are very concerned for her safety and welfare.
