8/23/2014 - Wanted Fugitive: Rommel LATA

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Rommel Lata who is wanted for a $75,000 contempt warrant for failure to appear for trail call on July 30, 2014.

On March 21, 2014, at approximately 1:08 p.m., the complainant was at her residence located on Puamaeole Street when she heard a noise outside of her front door. Upon going outside to check, she observed an unknown male inside of her father`s storage shed located in the patio. The male was holding a military bag belonging to her father and dropped it when he saw the complainant, and fled. Police were called and located the male nearby. He was identified as Lata and placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree.

Suspect:     Rommel Lata

Race:          Filipino

Age:            40 years old

Height:        5’6”

Weight:       130 lbs.

Hair:            Black

Eyes:               Brown

7/26/2014 - Wanted Fugitive: Russell STREET

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Russell Street who is wanted for a $100,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

From March 3, 2009, to March 4, 2009, the complainant received three threatening messages that were intended for another person with the same name. The other person was a property manager and recognized the voice on the message as Street who he had spoken with on many occasions. Street had been evicted from his apartment and believed it was the property managers fault.  Street was positively identified and later located by a detective. He was placed under arrest for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree.

6/14/2014 - Wanted Fugitive: Noah SEDENO

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Noah Sedeno who is wanted for a $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

A juvenile female reported that between March 1, 2010, and March 27, 2010, she was sexually assaulted by Sedeno who was her mother’s boyfriend. Sedeno was interviewed and placed under arrest for Sexual Assault in the Second Degree.  He is a registered sex offender and failed to comply with his probation.

 

Suspect:   Noah Sedeno

Race:         Caucasian

 Age:           26 years old

Height:       6’0”

Weight:      214 lbs.

5/3/2014 - Wanted Fugitive: Gregory KWIK

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Gregory Kwik who is wanted for two $50,000 Contempt warrants for failure to appear for trial on April 9, 2014.

From October 30, 2012, through November 1, 2012, Kwik deposited checks from Central Pacific Bank to Hawaii National Bank checking account. The check from CPB came back to Hawaii National Bank as insufficient funds and resubmitted. The check was returned the second time as account closed. Kwik returned to the bank and deposited a check from Wells Fargo Bank and made cash withdrawals. The check was later found to be a counterfeit and Kwik was contacted to pay back the money. After several attempts to contact Kwik police were called and a theft case was initiated. The case was turned over to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney who accepted the case and charged Kwik with Theft in the Second Degree, and Forgery in the Second Degree.

On November 1, 2012, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a male entered Money Mart located on Atkinson Drive and attempted to cash a check from the Kahala Hotel. The cashier called the hotel to verify the check and found that the check was a counterfeit. Police were notified and identified the male as Kwik. He was arrested for Forgery in the Second Degree, and Attempted Theft in the Second Degree.

2/8/2014 - Wanted Fugitive: Kenneth WONG

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kenneth Wong Jr. who is wanted for two $25,000 Probation Revocation warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On January 10, 2005, at approximately 1:10 a.m., officers were sent to the area of Kolowaka Drive and Waiapo Place on a report of a male breaking into a parked vehicle.   The caller gave the description and the license number of the suspect’s vehicle and related that it was leaving the area.  Police located the vehicle nearby and noticed that the ignition was punched. The registered owner was contacted and stated that the vehicle was stolen.  The occupants identified Wong as the person who stolen the vehicle.  Wong was later located and placed under arrest for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle.  

 

On March 3, 2014, at approximately 8:49 p.m., an officer was making a check in the parking lot of Makiki Shopping village due to numerous reports of illegal activity.  As the officer drove through the lot he observed two males acting suspiciously. As he approached the males, one of them entered a Dodge Caravan and fled out of the parking lot. The officer made a check of the license plate and found that it had been reported stolen and attempted to stop the vehicle on Lunalilo Street and Ernest Street. The male fled at a high rate of speed and ran a red light at Ward Avenue colliding with three vehicles.  The male then fled on foot towards Emerson Street.  The Dodge was searched and a cellular phone was located nearby belonging to the suspect.  Officers observed the phone ringing and called the number of the caller. The caller gave the name of the male driver and owner of the phone as Kenneth Wong.

 

On March 6, 2014, at approximately 12:51 a.m., officers were sent to Pensacola Street on a report of an argument. The caller stated that her step brother identified as Wong was attempting to get into her apartment.  Officers recognized the name of the suspect from the earlier incident and proceeded to Pensacola Street. As the officers approached they were alerted by a witness that a male was attempting to hide on the rooftop of the building.  Officers located the male who fled by jumping from the roof top to an adjacent building and flee on foot towards Davenport Street.  Responding officers located Wong on Davenport Street and struggled to arrest him.   Wong was placed under arrest for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle, Failure to Render Assistance-Accidents Involving Bodily Injury, Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the Third Degree, Drug paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest.

 

Suspect:   Kenneth Wong Jr.

Race:         Hawaiian

 Age:           36 years old

Height:      6’0”

Weight:     196 lbs.

Hair:           Brown

11/9/2013 - Wanted Fugitive: Saimone MAFI Jr.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating  Saimone Mafi who is wanted for two $20,000 cash only Probation Revocation for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of HOPE probation.

 

On January 11, 2011, at approximately 6:20 a.m., the complaint went to his vehicle parked on Waipahu Street and observed and unknown male crouched in the back seat. He also observed that the drivers side door lock had been damaged and items strewn about.  Police were called and identified the male as Mafi.  He was placed under arrest for Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle.

While investigating the case, officers were approached by a second complainant that had parked her vehicle on Waipahu Street.  Upon arriving at her vehicle at 6:30 a.m., the complainant observed her drivers side door ajar, the lock damaged, and items missing.  The officer asked her to look in side of the first complainant’s vehicle to see if any of the items belonged to her. Te complainant was able to identify two bags taken from her vehicle. Mafi was then arrested for and additional Unauthorized Entry Into a Motor Vehicle, and Detaining Stolen Property.

 

On January 13, 2013, at approximately 7:40 a.m., the complainant approached her vehicle that was parked on Leowahine Street and observed a male asleep in the front passenger seat.  Police were called and located the male still in the vehicle. He was identified as Mafi and placed under arrest for Unauthorized Entry Into a Motor Vehicle.

 Age:           25 years old

Weight:      174 lbs.

10/12/2013 - Wanted Fugitive: Takeru MIZOGUCHI

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Takeru Mizoguchi who is wanted for three warrants totaling $145,000 for failure to appear for hearing to set conditions of release on bail and trial call on August 21, 2013, and for failure to appear for trial call on Record on September 10, 2013.

Race:         Japanese

 Age:             21 years old

Weight:      147 lbs.

7/6/2013 - Wanted Fugitive: Lamar JOHNSON

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Lamar Johnson who is wanted for two warrants totaling $1,000,000 for falure to appear for Trial Call/Change of Plea on June 10, 2013.

On July 19, 2012, a male checked into the Trump International Hotel using a credit card that was found to be fraudulent. On July 20, 2012, Secret Service agents and police officers located the male identified as Johnson leaving the hotel. He was positively identified by the hotel staff as the male who presented the credit card and identification upon checking in. Johnson was searched and numerous credit cards and driver`s licenses  were located in his pockets. He was placed under arrest for Unauthorized Possession of Confidential Personal Information, Fraudulent Use of Credit Card, Identity Theft in the Second Degree, Theft in the Second Degree, Forgery in the Second Degree, and Credit Card Theft.

5/11/2013 - Wanted Fugitive: Marcell PORTER

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public`s assistance in locating Marcell Porter who is wanted for two $35,000 contempt warrants for failure to appear for trial call on April 29, 2013.

On April 19, 2011, Porter entered the complainant`s residence on Captain Cook Avenue through a locked window and confronted her and her guest. Police were called to the apartment and located Porter in the apartment. He was placed under arrest for Unauthorized Entry into a Dwelling. Through investigation officers learned that Porter had broken in the apartment on two prior occasions and had three outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was additionally arrested for two counts of Unauthorized Entry into a Dwelling and three contempt of court warrants.

On December 14, 2011, Porter was admitted to a treatment center and fled through the front door by pushing the on duty nurse. He was located and placed under arrest for Escape on the Second Degree.

11/24/2012 - Wanted Fugitive: Troy MALIN

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating troy Malin who is wanted for two $50,000 cash only Contempt warrants for failure to appear for status review hearing in August 27, 2012.

 

On October 20, 2009, Malin entered Kobe Steak House on Ala Moana Boulevard and had a meal valued over one hundred dollars. Upon being presented with the check, he informed the waitress that he had no money to pay his bill. Police were

Called and Malin was placed under arrest for Habitual Property Crime.

 

On April 12, 2011, Malin ate dinner at Ruby Tuesday located in Windward Mall and upon receiving his bill, related that he was unable to pay. Police were called and Malin was placed under arrest for Habitual Property Crime.

 

Malin has 12 prior convictions for the same offense.
